Datum Motorsport

Box3 Motorsport is proud to welcome Datum Motorsport — the Hertfordshire race-prep specialists behind championship-winning builds, Lotus expertise and the ex-Supercup Ginetta G55 GT4 — into the fold.

One Team, Two Sides of the Same Garage

+++Box3 Motorsport and Datum Motorsport are joining forces — not as supplier and client, but as one operation split across two disciplines.+++ Box3 brings the drivers, the sales, the marketing and the racing programme. Datum brings fifteen years of engineering, logistics and race-car craft from its Hertfordshire base. Put together, it's a single front door: ==you come to us, and everything behind that door is already sorted==. There's no second phone call to make, no separate invoice from a workshop you've never met. Established in 2009, Datum has spent over fifteen years building, preparing and restoring cars for teams and drivers who demand more than a service sticker on the windscreen — and that experience is now built directly into how Box3 operates, not bolted on beside it.

Build. Prepare. Race.

This is the engineering half of Box3's business, not an outside contractor. Established in 2009 and based in Hertfordshire, **Datum Motorsport** is a multiple championship-winning team providing a full range of services for both motorsport and performance road cars. It's a philosophy distilled into three words — *build, prepare, race* — and one that now runs through everything Box3 turns its hand to, from ground-up restorations to the fine margins of race-day support.

The Complete Package — Under One Roof

For Box3 drivers, this isn't a partnership you have to manage — it's one relationship, start to finish. Transport, storage, pre-event preparation and on-track support come as one seamless service because they're one business now, not two handing off to each other. The engineering and logistics run behind the scenes at Datum's Hertfordshire workshop; the driving, racing and race-day relationship stays with Box3. You never have to work out who to call. Datum's 4-car race transporter, complete with a fully air-conditioned office and driver area, becomes the perfect base for a race weekend, and driver training is on hand to help you get the best out of your car and reach your potential on track.

That's what this means in practice. Box3 drivers now sit inside an operation with fifteen years of championship-winning engineering built into it — and the machinery to prove it — without ever needing to step outside the Box3 relationship to get it. Whether it's a track day on the ==ex-championship-winning Ginetta G55 GT4 Supercup== or a full race weekend supported by transport, storage and on-track preparation, it all comes through Box3, delivered by Datum. Add driver training into the mix, and this becomes less a supplier arrangement and more a genuine pathway — from first laps to race-ready, all under one roof.
